Four Divisions. Four Picks. Who Will Take Home the Crown?

The wait is almost over! With the Miami Basketball Club Fall Season tipping off October 16–17, 2026, it's time to look ahead at the biggest question of them all: Who will be crowned champions?

Every division has its own storylines, talented players, and coaches looking to make their mark. From teams hungry for redemption to a first-year head coach looking to make history, this season has all the ingredients for an exciting race to the championship.

Here are the official MBC Insider championship predictions for the Fall Season!

 ELITE DIVISION: NEW YORK KNICKS

Prediction: Knicks win the championship.

After falling short in the Finals, the Knicks have redemption on their minds. I expect this group to come back hungry and establish itself as a dominant force throughout the season. With a taste of the championship stage already behind them, the Knicks have the motivation to take that next step.

Leading the charge is Joey Ross, one of the top players in the division. If Joey sets the tone and the Knicks build chemistry early, this team could be difficult to stop.

The question is simple: Can the Knicks turn last season's heartbreak into a championship run?

 PRO DIVISION: LOS ANGELES LAKERS

Prediction: Lakers win the championship.

Heartbreak in the Finals can either break a team or motivate it to come back stronger. For Coach Marlon and the Lakers, I'm betting on the latter.

This won't be an easy road. The Pro Division is expected to bring plenty of competition, and the Lakers will have to earn every win. But when the pressure rises and the stakes get higher, Coach Marlon and his squad have shown the ability to find a way.

With Noah Posada, one of the division's top players, leading the way, the Lakers have the talent and motivation to finish what they started.

They came close last time. Now, it's time to get it done.

 HOOPERS DIVISION: HOUSTON ROCKETS

Prediction: Rockets win the championship.

Could this be the season Coach Bryan takes the next step in his coaching career?

The revamped Rockets look ready to make another serious push toward the Finals. With a retooled roster and championship aspirations, this group has the potential to put together a strong season and position itself for a deep playoff run.

For Coach Bryan, a championship would be more than a trophy. It would be a major milestone and an opportunity to establish himself as one of the division's coaches to watch.

The pieces appear to be in place. Now, the Rockets must prove they can deliver when it matters most.

MBC Insider Pick: Rockets bring home the Hoopers title.

 JUNIORS DIVISION: PHOENIX SUNS

Prediction: Suns win the championship.

For our youngest division, I'm going with the Suns under first-year head coach Jason.

This could be one of the tightest races of the entire Fall Season. With young players continuing to develop and every game offering a new opportunity to learn, the Juniors championship could come down to the final stretch.

Coach Jason has an opportunity to make an immediate statement in his first season at the helm. If the Suns come together, play as a team, and stay consistent, they could surprise the division and make a run all the way to the championship.

It's a bold pick, but I'm backing the Suns to get it done.
